Wightwick Manor Map

Wightwick Manor sits on the western edge of Wolverhampton, a Grade I listed Victorian house run by the National Trust. Built in the 1880s, the manor represents the Arts and Crafts movement at its height, with interiors and furnishings designed to reflect the ideals of the period. The house contains original William Morris wallpapers, textiles and artwork alongside an impressive collection of Victorian and Edwardian pieces accumulated by its original owners.

The grounds stretch across several acres and include formal gardens, woodland walks and a series of interconnected spaces that have been carefully maintained. The manor is open to visitors year-round, though wheelchair access is limited to certain areas. Entry requires an admission fee. The site is managed by Historic England and the National Trust, with a website providing full details of opening times, facilities and current exhibitions. Those planning a visit should allow time to explore both the house and its surrounding landscape, which together offer insight into upper-class domestic life and artistic taste in late Victorian England.
